In December 2025, OREC hit a major milestone: generating over 1 GWh of clean energy in a single month. This record was fueled by our new 100% ownership of the Tiverton wind turbine, which worked overtime while our solar panels took a winter nap. Even more exciting? OREC secures 100% ownership of our Tiverton wind site! This strategic acquisition streamlines management and accelerates returns for our members. It gives us full control of a 2.3 MW turbine, which avoids 1,080 tonnes of GHG annually (like taking 234 cars off the road!) A major win for OREC's future!
